Showcasing the choreography of Hilary Thomas, the artistic director of Lineage Dance, this experimental dance-for-camera explores our willingness to let go of the fear associated with change, the unknown and death.

THE PERFECTION OF ANNA
Ten year-old Jesse has watched her mom’s modern dance company all her life. To Jesse, beautiful Anna, the company’s lead dancer, is just perfect. When Anna suffers a stroke that leaves her left side paralyzed, Jesse witnesses Anna’s triumph over adversity as she pulls herself out of depression to dance again.
In 2013, The Perfection of Anna was an official selection at the Big Island Film Festival, The BlueStocking Film Festival, The Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults, Lady Filmmakers Film Festival, Women Media Arts and Film Festival in Sydney, Australia and the Women's Independent Film Festival.
